Save Public Education

In Newfoundland and Labrador, we have built a system of high-quality, accessible post-secondary education that works. More students from this province can access post-secondary education than ever before, and we’re attracting people from across Canada and around the world who are staying and building their lives here. Now, our public education system is at risk. The Ball Government has slashed funding, including drastically reducing Memorial University’s operating grant and cutting the 100% non-repayable, needs-based grants program. These will have negative repercussions on our province’s economy for years to come.

Save Public Education is a campaign to restore funding to our post-secondary education system.

It’s up to all of us to take action against unfair cuts that target our most vulnerable students. Together we can save public education.
